Witham MP Priti Patel has called on Essex County Council to take action to repair Anchor Road in Tiptree. The road has been the subject of numerous complaints from residents and Priti has made multiple representations to the Council about the deterioration of the road surface and potholes. Priti said:

“Anchor Road is in an appalling state with the surface falling apart and potholes posing a risk to safety and could damage vehicles. The problems with this road have been going on for too long and with the funding they have received to repair roads from the Government it is time Essex County Council gave a commitment to repair Anchor Road.”
