Defending Rural Essex

Priti is proud to support farmers, producers and rural communities in Essex. She’s working with the police to tackle rural crime, campaigning to safeguard agricultural land and promoting more sales and exports of local produce.

Supporting local charities

Priti supports a number of local charities and good causes in the constituency, including Farleigh Hospice, the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity and the Royal British Legion.

Opposing National Grid’s pylon plans

Priti has been campaigning against the National Grid’s plans for over 100 miles of new pylons and overhead power lines in East Anglia and calling for the development of an offshore grid as an alternative.
